Overwatch: Open Beta Impressions

Greetings programs. My Wing Commander Riff Cast co-star Matt Leaver and I decided to spend some time playing the open beta of Blizzard’s new first-person shooter, Overwatch. We then poured a couple large cups of coffee and laid down some audio for your listening pleasure.

Should you buy this game?

Adam: No

Matt: No

Why?

Adam: No value for cost. Overwatch neither breaks new ground as a FPS, nor excels at anything we’ve seen recently.

Matt: It’s probably going to go free-to-play within the next year.

Say something good about it.

Adam: Progressive step forward in terms of character art and representation in video games.

Matt: Fun team play when you get the right team.
