In the immortal words of Dr. Liet-Kynes, “I can’t see it yet, but it is very close.” The end that is. Well, the end of the first arc. I’m trying not to think about the fact that there are another 13 episodes worth of reviews ahead of me.
Today saw more polish on the episode 10 review, which is now pretty much ready for prime time. The review for episode 11 is, likewise, almost ready to go. I have such a love/confusion relationship with Toys in the Attic. On the one hand, it is a brilliant Alien homage. Yet it’s an homage that seems intent on poking itself in the eye by the time it comes to an end. Honestly, there are times when I really don’t know what Cowboy Bebop is doing.
You know, forget about Dr. Kynes. Let’s put a gun to my head. On Monday, June 4, 2018, the first of the arc 1 reviews are going live. I’m still running the numbers on if I want to publish 2 or 3 reviews per week. Right now, I’m leaning toward 2 because I remember people saying they couldn’t keep up with everything I had to say when I was writing 3-a-week on the Page of Reviews.
The plan is to start working on the arc 2 reviews while these ones are going live, so there shouldn’t be too much of a lag between the arc 1 reviews finishing and the arc 2 reviews starting.
