Adios, Cowboy – Arc 1 – Day 29

Well that certainly was an ordeal.

Episode 11’s draft is done. I do not want to think about this wacky episode any more until I get to polishing up the final draft. I don’t want to, but I know I will. The weird stories are always the ones that take up residence in my head.

Toys in the Attic is at once clever, funny, and goddamn inscrutable. I’ve heard of writers having to “kill their darlings,” but “eating their peril” is new to me.

Honestly, if I ever get to meet Keiko Nobumoto, this is the episode where I am going to have the most questions.

Question 1: Why?

Question 2: No, really, I need to know if this episode had some sort of meaning to it beyond taking the piss.

*Quickly googles to see if Keiko Nobumoto is still alive*

She is. Okay. Good.
